Treatment

“Balanced chaos” doesn’t exist in Urban Dictionary. But, it is a word I’ve associated with my work. The blend of energetic techniques with smooth, easy to digest color fascinates me. This and texture has always been crucial to my development as an artist.

This painting encapsulates my art practice by combining two textures and two styles into a cohesive piece. At the end, I decided to title it “Treatment,” as if I was assessing the balanced chaos and giving it a visual definition.
